First entry....

So today I sent out an email to my mom and some friends telling them a story about my first attempts at cooking in my new house. I said that I had a lot of friends who have blogs and that, if I were a blogger, this would be a post.

My friend Julie sent me an IM and said I really should consider blogging. She pointed out that it would be a great way to catalog our first year of marriage...and I was hooked! So, here I am...in the world of blogging.

I will probably go back and add a few notes from the wedding and the honeymoon just to have it for the sake of posterity, but after that, I'll just pick up with daily life. I can't much imagine this will be very amusing for too many people, but hey--if it is, so be it.
